I haven't programmed one of these in a while so as usual I am not doing well. I updated the firmware. It's a PDM 25 and for starters I can't get the keypad to work. It has power and ground but when I set it up it doesn't show as connected in the monitor and it doesn't light up except when it is first turned on.
Any thoughts?
do you update the firmware and software to V1.1.6? in my case V 1.1.6 does not work for PDM25 when trying to send can bus cmd to update keypad baudrate to 1Mb/s. so i downgrade to software and firmware to v 1.1.5 and can send can open cmd to keypad to change baudrate without issue.
If I ever can’t get a keypad to work, I start at 125kb and ID decimal 21 hex 15. If it works, you know the speed needs to be changed.
The new can analyzer is also really helpful.
Lastly the keypad could still be in J1939. If so you will set speed to 250kb and send commands with can analyzer.
also while I have you attention, the manual show 2 number 24 outputs and 2 number 25 outputs. Which pins are correct for those outputs?
I had not noticed that before but under the global tab I see CAN 1 Tec 56 and Rec 0
Have you got any CAN tec or rec errors? In the monitor tab
