It seems for PDM25 the connectors are "Deutsch DT 12-Pin". From TE datasheet should be pin size 16 which only support up to 13 amps per pin. Have any tried running full 20A current for the output and not having issues?
Simple recommendation to try to space your loads out if you have any heavy ones. Don't have 3 pins right next to each other trying to pull the maximum draw. This helps spread the heat out more and has allowed me to run some of the outputs at pretty high draw for a long time.
Hi Zaihas, indeed the rating is 13A, but this is given at the worst case operating temperature of the connector which i believe is 120degC. At the temperatures the PDM operates at, it turns out that the contacts can handle much more current, and this is what we have seen with our own testing and 4 years in the market.
