Allye Energy Powers Innovation with Hardwire Electronics Power Distribution Modules

Allye Energy is a British clean-tech company delivering AI-powered battery energy storage systems (BESS) that address grid constraints for commercial and industrial users. Their MAX range of intelligent storage solutions can operate on-grid or off-grid, and feature novel bi-directional battery control, grid-forming power and smart optimisation in a modular, compact package based around second-use EV battery packs to provid flexible, lower-carbon energy storage for a wide range of applications.

Allye Energy required a modern solution to replace traditional fuse and relay systems in their MAX battery energy storage units. Their goal was to simplify the electrical architecture while maintaining the high reliability and precise control demanded by their independent battery architecture.

  • Eliminating bulky fuse and relay setups that added complexity and maintenance overhead

  • Supporting Allye's independent battery architecture where each pack operates in parallel on a common AC bus

  • Integrating a system capable of communicating over CAN bus for real-time monitoring and diagnostics

  • Providing precise control of multiple circuits within each battery module to optimise performance and safety

Hardwire Electronics provides Allye Energy with next-generation Power Distribution Modules (PDMs) that replace traditional fuse and relay systems with a fully electronic solution.
