Hi folks
My camper van has a PDM 15 controlling the electronics which run from the leisure battery. (Internal lights, electric pump on the sink, fridge etc)
The leisure battery failed recently, so i had it replaced. It is now working, but there's no power to anything.
The blockage seems to be the PDM. I've connected to the PDM via the USB, and managed to establish a connection, to try and diagnose the fault. I seemed to be getting somewhere, but then i must have unplugged the USB it at the wrong time, because now the computer says "the USB device has malfunctioned" (or similar error) and when I look on device manager, it has a warning sign associated with that USB port.
When I try to connect the PDM, sometimes it works, and sometimes it seems to work, and then says "device unplugged" almost immediately.
I've restarted my computer,…
I’m triggering the starter solenoid from one of the 4 high current outputs. It sounded a little odd and quickly broke a starter. After installing another starter I video’d it in action and you could see playing back in slow motion it was oscillating rapidly. The only workaround I’ve found temporary is to set minimum on time to .2 sec but this is not ideal, as it causes the starter to hang on once the motor fires. What am I doing wrong? It’s a race car, 16v lithium battery.

Hi,
PDM15 (v1 I believe) with v1.1.6 SW with a Rife analog temp sensor connected to an input. How do you get Sensor Calibration tables to work? I have it configured but it always outputs 0. I tried fudging it with a 2D table which did work, which makes me think it's a bug in v1.1.6?
Thanks
Simon
Hi, Can you make sure that the last few values are filled in on the sensor calibration table
Ok, so I've managed to reconnect the USB, and got it to do a firmware update.
The PDM is now alive! But it still isn't outputting any power (none of the pad buttons are working, no power to any other functions)
What might I try next? (And if it's not already obvious, I really don't know what I'm doing with electronics.... Should I just step away from this, and wait till someone qualified can look at it...?)
