Key Pad

I have one of my Keypad buttons set up to start my car. I would like to know if there is a way to set up the same button to be used to shut down the engine?

I have the PDM controlling coils and fuel by a button and when it sees RPM. I would think you could add logic to turn off coils and fuel outputs if the RPM is above a specified # and the start button is pushed. Making it a Start/Stop Button.

First Time User of PDM25

Hi team, I am just getting set to upload my config file to my PDM25 and have attempted to update the firmware on the bench powered by USB. Once completed the update to 1.1.6 the PDM connects to PC again but stays in Firmware update mode according to the data in LH bar. The last step in update was to upload a blank config file but I left it for 20 mins or so and nothing was happening, just the circle of death. Where am I going wrong?

Hi, If the PDM is still in update mode, this means that the fw update was not successfull. It will stay in FW update mode until FW has successfully been loaded in. Please refer to the youtube video on our channel on how to do this

Changing states of Keypad

Is it possible to change the state of a buttons on the keypad? I want to set buttons for cool-down mode that will turn on water pump and fans until it has cooled down enough, then I would like this buttons to return to the off states.

The best way to do this is to have the Keypad button mode as momentary.

Also set the off state and state 1 of the button to be output 1 status, and both green.

Then in the output function, Have it as

Output 1 on if

Keypad Button State Equals 1

OR

Output 1 State Equals 1

AND

Temperature > 60

This will latch the output on if the temp is > 60 when you press the button.

PDM25 restarts at cranking

We have installed 5 cars with PDM25 running the entire car. All of them runs ok, no issues at all

We install a new car, and in this case the PDM restarts at cranking, and it is related to the pdm because we move the pdm to another cars and the fault follows the PDM (wirings are exactly the same, so we just swaps the pdms between them). If i crank the car with the PDM connectet to the laptop, the car runs perfectly

Without the laptop connected, if i keep pushing the cranking button for 5-6 seconds, the pdm restarts and then, the car runs. I wanna know if the unit is defective, or maybe there is a firmware issue or similar.

Picture of the car just for attention

Hi, Thank you for the details, and for the investigative work you have done so far. Can you log the battery voltaeg on the PDM at the maximum logging rate?
