Fuel Pump Configuration issue on PDM25
I have a Fueltech FT550 - Pin 9 (blue) from ECU connector B goes to PDM connector A7 = Input 1.
On PDM25 connector D10 = Output 24 (25amp) goes to Fuel pump.
Output 24 set up as:
Button 2 on Can Keypad set to Latching
When I press the button the pump comes on for a few seconds then stops.
When you go to Monitor the outputs and enable the button the pump comes on for a while then trips. The steady state on the pump states 15.5amps. However, when viewing the screen its running around 19 to 22 amps and peaks just over 25amps on initial button press. System is not allowing me to change High Fuse setting.
On the Configuration of Inputs I have not done anything. Not sure if I need to or not as its confusing to know if PDM or ECU is controlling.
Something I may need to look into is the soft start for the pump but that can wait for the minute.
The ECU is linked to the PDM via canbus.
Can anyone share any thoughts to where I have gone wrong.
