Hey guys, recently got my car back from mapping and noticed that the pdm wasnt switching off with the switch, im having to trip the main power to get it to power down. i current have voltage coming out of my input channels, comfirmed with mulitmeter some have 11.9v others have 1to6v. bit off a loss why this has happened. latest version of softwear. photo attached.

Annual inspection time in the airplane and checking firmware and making a few config changes. Says I have a V2 PDM-15 but can that be right? What firmware/sw should I update to?
I see you are making your way into some aviation with Virgil/Bearhawk! Good to see - mine continues to run flawlessly!
1.1.6 is latest. Unless there is a feature or fix you needed I would stay with what you have.

Hi, I am looking to import a CAN configuration file that was created by my GEMS ECU software in DBC format, I can't export the data in any other format.
I have tried to import that file directly but nothing changes. Is there a conversion utility in use to format it correctly for Hardwire?

Hey everyone,
I am having a weird issue where my keypad (Blink Marine 12) seems to become disconnected from the PDM. The keypad stays lit but the buttons no longer function. I do not have a termination resistor at the keypad (I know this is not ideal since it is at the end of the canbus), but with the Terminator X handheld hooked up for datalogging and the Holley usb cable the resistance between the Can Hi and Can Low is already 53 ohms. Does anyone now if the lack of resistor could be the problem or is this a setup issue? I really appreciate any advice!
It’s possible the handheld or usb cable has a resistor in it. You want the bus to be at 60ohms. You may have too many.

PDM not saving my output after I send them to PDM and save them. Shut PDM off went come back Started computer backup plugged into the P D M and it was all gone Plus the Blink Marine 12 button is Not saving Anybody have any ideas what I'm doing wrong
Just eliminating the obvious, but you are clicking the "Retrieve" button after connecting?

How come I don't show a tripped option on the outputs, the tripped count doesn't seem to do anything.
1.1.6 has an issue with this. If you need it, let me know and we can send the 1.1.7 pre release which has this fixed.
you can get around it by using a generic function output x status > 1
Then use that in the fault LED condition.

I have two PDMs and I intended to leave one permanently powered for things like central locking. The second would be powered on a switch along with the ECU.
I'm finding that the can bus doesn't connect properly unless I connect to the permanently powered pdm with the laptop.
Is there any way to get around this issue? I'm assuming that the permanently powered pdm is marking the bus as dead when it can't contact the other devices.
So I have re-wires the two PDMs and ECU to all turn on simultaneously on a switch, but the front pdm can bus must be running out before the devices in the rear are available.
The ECU and rear PDM establish can Comms, but the front pdm is dark until I resend the config.
I've checked the physical cabling and I get 60ohm with all devices powered off. I can only assume that the issue is on a micro second timing level.
The rear pdm and ECU are both in the boot and are fed by a longer cable run than the front pdm.
Is there any way to delay the start up?

I am looking to put a 12v input into my PDM25 v1and monitor that its voltage is at least greater than 5v. Checking the documentation I see the following ...
Just need to check that I read that as that I can add a 12v input but I can only measure up to 6v of that input ... would that sound correct or should I put no more than 6v into the input?

Do you think it is possible to have the PDM configurator working on Linux ? It seems to be developed with a cross-platform environment. It's boring to have a Virtualbox only to configure a PDM... Maybe, I can help for this.

can you check the voltage on the enable pin.
