Hello! Can't get PDM to show correct values från Link g4+ Ecu.
Downloaded the Link g4+ can input from here and are using Generic Dash in link on Can output but it's showing in pdm RPM ~3000 up and down, Temp -50 and so on...
Can variable are showing everything wrong!
Can u provide the Link stream setting? and also PDM settings? mine running fine.. im using LINK G4X Xtreme...
i send data both way and not having any issues running at 1Mbit/s - interval of 200Hz from/to ECU to/from PDM. I have 120 ohm termination resistor between CAN+/CAN-
I configured all device --> LINK ECU + KEYPAD + PDM + AIM DASH to run same speed - 1Mbit/s
From ECU to PDM -->
2x fuel pump + 1 water pump running via CAN AUX output
ECU data using generic dash 2 to PDM (all other data like RPM etc)
PDM To ECU -->
NOS pressure sensor analog volatage + Fuel level sender analog voltage --> --> to LINK CAN AN
NOS enable (keypad button latch) --> to LINK CAN DI
from the snapshot seem u select generic dash 2 format from selection in link can setup.
I can test it tomorrow morning! Not in the garage now. Regards andreasson2.
I had the same issue with the Link g4x ecu. When the engine wasnt running most of the CAN data was ok but soon as it started i lost most of it. I had to send smaller groups of CAN data on different CAN ID's. The data from the PDM sometime wasnt that accurate either, i did a load of test data sending a constant value of 1 and the ecu saw numbers all over the place zero up to 511, while variable data such as PAS pressure went up to 32767. Theres a glitch that throws it out somewhere, as both my dash and ECU saw the same random data from the PDM. But the PDM would see different data to the dash from the ECU while on the same CAN network.
In the can input config, can you change to signed data type instead of unsigned and see if that helps. I can check through the documentation for link when I'm in the office on Monday.
Please can you show a screenshot of the data you are receiving?
